During a meeting with Can Tho City leaders in 2016, Gentraco was recognized for its rice export activities, investment in storage and processing facilities, and development of raw material areas in cooperation with farmers.
In addition to traditional rice products, Gentraco was encouraged to research and develop value-added products such as rice flour, rice bran oil, and confectionery to diversify its product portfolio, increase added value, and strengthen the competitiveness of Vietnamese rice.
